Gathering thousands of young people in the street (or under a tunnel) has helped us in regaining possession of unusual spaces.
Probably the most famous of our parties was held under the tunnel in via Sammartini, Milan.
Every day the tunnel was – and still is – crossed by thousands of cars and a very few pedestrians. One day, or better, one whole night we reversed this trend by closing it to traffic and turning it into a disco with a bar, a stage for live concerts and street art workshops.
For many years it was a must-attend event for many young people in Milan, to the extent of creating a buzz that crossed national borders.
