An ambitious project with an international model: a factory in the creative heart of Zona Tortona is now open as a cultural hub.
Via Bergognone 34 in Zona Tortona, Milan, is home to BASE MILANO, an experiment in cultural innovation which involves esterni. Inside the former Ansaldo steelworks, it hosts exhibitions, workshops, shows, events and much more. Its purpose is to add to the common good, to become a driving force for mutual social and economic progress.
In just a few years, with an area of 12,000 sqm and a rich and busy cultural program, BASE MILANO has become a cultural center with an increasingly international feel, located in one of Milan’s liveliest neighborhood.
BASE MILANO also hosts a bistro with in-line food, designed and managed by esterni, called un posto a BASE.
