a public space liberation movement
with raids, set-ups, simulationsIl Salone è Fuori definitely turns into a wide movement for the recoover of public areas and draws a new map of the city in which these places - set free and returned to the citizens - prevail on illicitly occupied areas.
esterni invites all citizens to share this idea and calls for their participation in the movement for public space liberation.
From 12 to 17 April daily raids will be organized in the places that are most visited during the design week - installations and mobile settings, music, celebration, gathering points, stops, simulations and altered paths
A mobile corpse of 100 people will meet in different places at different times according to a set schedule and it will involve new recruits in public performances. Its aim is to show - even through parties and celebrations - that the prime meaning of public space is to boost people interaction. Citizens therefore discover to what extent the city can be transformed and experienced, if only they trigger a process that lends back its friendliness, hospitality and aggregating force.
