Un villaggio nell’assolata campagna spagnola, negli anni successivi alla Guerra Civile. Il potere religioso e quello politico sono inseparabili, incarnati in un personaggio, che rappresenta così la più alta autorità della cittadina. Un’autorità che, un giorno, subisce l’attacco di uno straniero, dal quale scaturisce un duello che si consuma sotto il sole cocente a colpi di dialettica sottile. In tempi in cui il pane non c’è per nessuno, ed è, sfortunatamente, il nostro pane quotidiano.
A village in the wide dry Spanish countryside, after the Civil War. Religious and Civil Power are together, embodied in a man that represents the highest authority in the town. One day, a stranger fellow hits him and his principles, and they start a dialectical duel under the sun, in times when there is no bread for anyone… unfortunately, our daily bread.

Guided by a distant voice on the phone, Jack has less than 12 hours to make his way through the city before something drastic changes his whole life. The story of the final journey set in the urban environment resolves with Jack's girlfriend leading him to the mystery of complete disappearance from this world.

Jaan leads a modest life by himself in a big city. One day he finds a wallet that belongs to a young woman next door. He decides to return the wallet but lacks courage to meet his neighbour.

Reality Shock Disorder

Jimmy believes his life is a movie. When he loses his girlfriend, he struggles to understand reality and notions of perception. Jimmy can only drive himself further into insanity.

Un film sull’inatteso. Spesso esiste una differenza molto sottile, o un intervallo di tempo molto ridotto, tra commedia e tragedia. Olaf vuole riconquistare la sua ex-fidanzata, e si intrufola nel suo appartamento per prepararle una sorpresa. Ma riuscirà a renderla felice? E chi resterà sorpreso alla fine?
A film about the unexpected. There is often only a tiny little difference or moment between comedy and tragedy. Olaf wants to win back his ex-girlfriend, so he sneaks into her appartment to prepare a surprise for her. But will this surprise make her happy, and who will be surprised in the end?

Bere il mare (To Drink The Sea)

Da un terrazzo che si affaccia sul mare, Maria Cristina riprende un corpo tra le onde. L’uomo potrebbe essere morto o in fin di vita. Le onde sono alte, ma qualcuno decide comunque di tuffarsi nel tentativo di portarlo in salvo. Chiedendo informazioni alla gente che accorre sul lungomare, Maria Cristina viene a sapere che a tuffarsi potrebbe essere stato proprio suo figlio.
From a terrace facing the sea, Maria Cristina clumsily shoots the passage of a body among the waves. The man could be dead – or close to it. The waves are high, but someone decides to dive anyway to save him. As she asks for information to the people gathering on the seafront, Maria Cristina finds out that it was maybe her son who dived into the water.

A guitarist in a metal band is chosen by God to bring the marks of his suffering: the stigmata. This event will break the balance of the character’s life, until he accepts the role God has decided for him.

Sugar Ray, come lo chiamano gli amici, giovane pugile di Lugano, è uno di quelli che non hanno mai assaporato nulla del successo e che in seguito ad un precedente knock out sta sviluppando una malattia al cervello che non gli permette più di combattere nel suo paese. Giulia è la sua ragazza, bella e fatalista, in fuga semplicemente da se stessa. Sugar Ray accetta un incontro in Italia e cerca di chiudere i conti con la Svizzera, con Giulia, con i suoi amici.
Sugar Ray, as his friends call him, a young Swiss boxer, has never enjoyed success. Furthermore, after a previous knock-out he has developed a brain disease for which he can not box in his country anymore. Giulia, his girlfriend, beautiful and fatalist, is just trying to escape from herself. Sugar Ray agrees to fight a match in Italy and tries to settle things up with Switzerland, Giulia, and his friends.
